D-Thinking

D-Thinking: Think to transform

Problem-Based Learning for the challenges of the future

From Year 10 to 12

At D-Thinking, students are confronted with real, complex problems that do not have single answers. Through a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology, they learn to research, work in teams, debate, create, propose and present. The classroom becomes a space for critical thinking, creativity, action, and the construction of personal and vocational identity.

This stage is the bridge between school and the world. And our students cross it with purpose.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP)

A program that combines experience with knowledge.

From Year 10 onwards, Dunalastair students follow the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, a rigorous and deeply humanistic academic program taught in more than 150 countries.

More than learning: finding purpose

D-Thinking is not just any stage. It is the stage where learning connects with vocation, where questions are not answered, but explored in depth. Where the solution to a problem is, in reality, a gateway to a new question.

D-Thinking trains students to think like scientists, create like artists, and act like global citizens.

And after D-Thinking?

D-Thinking marks the culmination of the Dunalastair Educational Project. From D-Inquiry in Infant and Junior, through D-Project in Junior and Senior, to the decisive moment: building your own path.
