We performed the closing of our school year with a colorful presentation of our Junior students, who presented the play "Toy Makers" (december 13th)

After two years of preparation, with the support of families, school and catechists, children successfully completed the process. Children showed happiness to receive the sacrament for the first time (november 26th)

5th grade children were able to make the staging of "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Simpsons in Italy". The dialogues were adapted by the students; as well they designed the sets and costumes (november 25th)

Since November 14th, children from first grade, showed each other what they had research about their favourite animal (november)

9 teams, 9 trials, 300 participants, including parents and students. On Saturday November 12th at Dunalastair Peñalolén took place, for the 6th time, our family Gymkhana (november 12th)

On Friday November 4th, students from 6th grade participated in the Book´s hour. They had the chance to enjoy a story telling, after listening to the book the students commented about it (november 4th)

It was such an engaging activity, that these dialogues were transformed into mini plays that were successfully performed, showing the students’ creativity and enthusiasm (october 20th)

Parents and Children had the opportunity to participate in different activities, which gave them the chance to have a great time, especially dancing cueca (october 1st)

Since then, parents are able to access to important information concerning their pupils, such as evaluations, attendance among others (september 28th)

The day was a complete success due to the great performance and enthusiasm of our students who showed all their artistic abilities and creativity (september 30th)

Students from Playgroup to 6th grade enjoyed Chilean traditional games, such as Gymkhana, two feet race, among others (september 15th)

Dictadas por la Ps. María A. Halcartegaray para apoderados de PG a 6º básico, contaron con gran participación y el tema fue: “Acompañando a nuestros hijos en la etapa de su desarrollo en afectividad y sexualidad” (04 y 06 octubre)

Acompañados con un día radiante y un gran público nuestros alumnos de playgroup a 6º básico vistieron sus trajes típicos y con alegría nos presentaron una variedad de danzas tradicionales chilenas (septiembre)

Dictada por la reconocida expositora Kathy Parish, el tema tratado fue muy interesante y aplicable al trabajo diario con los alumnos (septiembre)

On Saturday August 20th we had a new subject school activity: The Science Morning (august 20th)

The 2nd graders went to the “Pueblito de los Dominicos” in a didactic field trip to support the subject of Natural Science (august 11th)

Girls from 4th, 5th and 6th created their own gymnastic presentations

During the unit of inquiry: “It’s time to eat” the playgroup A developed a very delicious project, in which each family cooked their favorite recipe at home (august)

Children participated in an exposition named ‘books and films’ as well as they learned about the library methodology (29 june)

Pre kinder student explore different stories and prepare, with the parent’s support, an oral presentation about his/her favourite book (july)

This special event is done to support the development of English language and provide an opportunity for parents and other family members to get to know the ways in which English is taught at school (june 18th)

Antonia Inzulza Espíndola, fue destacada como la mejor alumna de todo su nivel, recibiendo carta y diploma por excelencia académica de parte del Presidente de los Estados Unidos (junio)

The children that participate in Drama Activity performed the song “El Negrito Zambo” using costumes and special makeup, they enjoyed acting and singing (may – june)

Infant and Junior School’s parents attended workshops that addressed the topics: “The importance of effective parental roles in the development of autonomy” and “The relation between school and family” (june 1st and 2nd)

Children from Playgroup up to 2nd grade invited their mothers to share with them, showing the great love they feel (13 may)

Students from 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades were invited to participate in the Fifteenth Mathematics Olympics in Santiago (17 october)

And we took the first steps towards our becoming part of the Dunalastair Schools network (october 1st)
