On the 24th of May Dunalastair hosted the “Young Maths Event”.
Our guest schools were Mayflower, Craighouse and Redland. We had ninety six students from years two to four (and twelve teachers) who shared and worked together with other pupils and staff from ABSCH schools on fun and motivating maths problems. They were encouraged to solve these problems using different strategies, knowledge and skills.
Students experienced challenging games and were able to learn how to work with interactive whiteboards.
