VISIT TO MUSEO INTERACTIVO MIRADOR (MIM)

On Tuesday 19th of october, students from 3rd grade visited the Museo Interactivo Mirador.

The objective of this activity had to do with the class' participation in different didactic workshops, in which they could reinforce the Natural Science topics seen in class, related with senses and their interaction with the natural world.

The students were divided in four groups, each of them taking part in one of these workshops:

  • “Huesitos” (Little Bones)
  • “Calentamiento Global” (Global Warming)
  • “¿Qué Comemos?” (What do we eat?)
  • “Celebrando el Bicentenario” (Comics) (Celebreating our Bicentenial)

Each of these workshops gave them the opportunity to enhance their previous knowledge on the topics seen in class, and enjoy a fun an original approach to science and other topics through the MIM's unique style.

Once activities were over, each group presented their work to the rest of the class.

I want to congratulate our students' excellent behavior and commitment in these activities, as well as express my gratitude to Mrs. Viviana Jimenez, one of the class' parents who kindly joined us in this trip.

Our appreciation to Miss Paola Yerkovich and Miss Carola Sanhueza who also helped us with this visit.
