SCIENCE MORNING

For this occasion the children worked preparing experiments developed in the classroom with their teachers regarding what they learned during the first half of the year and for the only purpose of receiving that day their parents and family and make them active science in an activity called "hands on".

During the morning the parents took turns in different rooms where children were waiting with experiments such as the manufacture of artificial ice, making a homemade torch, chemical changes in matter, experiments with food used in our homes, visiting the solar system class, diving in their bodies through their senses and main organs, and much more.

Several reptiles visited us with their owner who explained the characteristics of each and their way of living.

Finally, and as all the families gathered in the cafeteria we got delighted through trip to the sky and the universe that surround us, information given by Mr. Leopoldo Infante, astronomer, Catholic University professor, and that together with his team built the Hubble's ACS camera and discovered the most distant galaxy known so far.

He handed his knowledge in an educational and entertaining way, making us feel privileged to have him here with us
