Students made their voices heard by acting and reciting poems that express a love for human beings, the environment and life in general. Not only did they learn the poems, but they also researched and illustrated them, added music to them and danced. They studied famous poets such as Louisa May Alcott, Robert Louis Stevenson, Roald Dahl, Edgar Albert Guest, William Wordsworth, and others. They were able to see that poetry allows us to better understand what it means to be human.
