The purpose of the first Personal Skills Program unit, Integration, was to generate instances for the students to get to know each other and share experiences as a group. After this unit, the programme supports other important areas that help in the personal development of our students. These are “Self esteem and Self knowledge” and “Social Skills”. (The order of these depend on the needs detected in each class).

The objective of the “Self esteem and Self knowledge” unit is that kids get to know and appreciate more themselves and others. Empowering these skills, enables children to trust themselves and make use of their personal resources. At the same time, this stimulates the development and the construction of personal identity and self image.

In infant school, for Playgroup and Prekinder, the Personal Skills Program  works, a long the school year, Star of the week activity. Every week one girl or boy is chosen as the Star of the week of the class. During these days the class participates in different activities done specially for the star of the week,

On the other hand, the objective of Social Skills Unit, is to develop social abilities, helping students establish close and positive relationships with themselves and others, improving good communication and team work.
