| On Saturday June 18th, the fifth version of our English Morning took place. This special event is done to support the development of English language and provide an opportunity for parents and other family members to get to know the ways in which English is taught at school.
Among the activities, the puppets show and the cinema were the most popular. The last one had a popcorn kart, which was a generous contribution of our CPA.
During the morning other entertaining activities were developed to support each of the aspects of English:
For the aspects of speaking and listening, we sung The Beatles Karaoke, topic songs, Mother Goose nursery rhymes and a Bingo.
For the aspects of reading and writing, we installed a special library and made verbal games such as: letter soups and simple crosswords.
So during the two-hour event, each family designed their own route so they visited the classrooms that they found interesting. Finally, despite the imminent rain, it was a day full of work and fun that had, as always, an enthusiastic and active participation of a large number of families of the Infant school. |
