The play, The Wizard of Oz, was performed by the members of the Drama Workshop from 3rd grade.  A group of 30 students brought to life characters from this classic story such as Dorothy, Toto, Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, the Scarecrow, the wicked witch and the Lion.

Students learned about elements of theater such as the scripts, costumes, and make-up while preparing scenery, props, music and choreography.

Children also learned about the importance corporal and facial expression, intonation, voice projection and pronunciation.

The teachers in charge, Ms. Olivia Evans and Ms. Patricia Abarca were very grateful to receive help from some mothers of the actors in creativity props, costumes and the rehearsals.
