Last Thursday, November 17th, third graders, together with their form teachers and some invited parents, went to visit the Buin Zoo regarding the unit they are working with, on animals. That day, they spent a wonderful, sunny adventure where the chance to see all kinds of vertebrates and invertebrates that inhabit our planet helped them understand how broad and sensitive biodiversity is.
At the same time, a show including sea wolves, seals, and penguins entertained the children and also taught them about the characteristics that make those beautiful animals so special and fun to observe.
