During the week of the 9th to 13th of May the infant school held its Book Week. During these 5 days the students were visited by parents and different members of staff who came to share their favourite book with them. We were also visited by Catherine Toman author and illustrator of “La Niña Alga va a la Antártica”. By haring with Catherine, the students learned about the steps involved in the process of writing a book, but what caught their attention the most was the discovery that there is a transparent fish which lives in this part of the world. After their meeting with Catherine each class worked on making a class book which was displayed in the entrance hall, congratulations to all our future writers. To end book week the students came to school dressed up as their favourite book character so during that day we had pirates, princesses, puss in boots, and even one of the 3 little pigs walking around the school and being part of our PE lessons, we thank all the those who contributed to making this a successful week.
