Our admissions office works throughout the year, selecting students who apply for the different year groups, though our two main periods are in March/April and October/November. The first is for our annual intake in early Infants (Playgroup and Pre-Kinder) while the period closer to the end of the year are students seeking admission to levels from Kindergarten to Senior School. The rest of our intake is made up of families who have been transferred from out of Santiago, or from abroad, which is far more frequent in today’s world.

We make every effort to accommodate families that apply for admission to Dunalastair, though we sometimes have difficulties as a result of numbers, especially in the early years. Students are evaluated in English, Spanish and Mathematics, and both candidates and their parents are interviewed as part of the process. Our main aim in subjecting candidates to this process is to ensure that they will be able to make the best of their time with us.

| All documentation must be delivered in a sealed envelope at the Reception Desk only.
Candidates for admission to the other levels must present the same information, plus the latest report card from their previous school.
The selection process has a cost of $35.000.- per candidate.
